Healthy Gluten-Free Rice Bread
This delicious and nutritious rice bread is perfect for those following a gluten-free diet. Made with simple ingredients and packed with flavor, it's a great addition to any meal.
Ingredients
- 390g Medium Grain or Sushi Rice
- 220g Water
- 20g Brown Caster Sugar
- 8g Yeast
- 3g Salt
- 20g Rice Bran Oil
Instructions
- Soak the rice in cold water for at least 2 hours. Preheat your oven to 170°C (338°F) and line a loaf tin with baking paper.
- Drain the soaked rice and add it to the blender cup. The drained rice should weigh 520g. If it weighs less, add a little water to reach 520g total weight. Add all remaining ingredients, including the 220g of water, to the blender. Blend the mixture until it becomes smooth and well combined.
- Pour the blended batter into your prepared loaf tin and let it sit for about 20 minutes. The mixture should rise up to about 90% of the tin's height.
- Place a piece of baking paper on top of the loaf tin and add a weighted object on top of the baking paper. This will help the bread rise evenly.
- Bake the bread for 50 minutes.
- Remove the bread from the oven and loaf tin, and let it cool completely before slicing. **Tip:** For best results, wait until the bread is cool to cut into it.
