Returns & Refunds Policy

At Wabi Matcha, we take pride in the quality of our tea. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

1. Return Window

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

2. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, unopened, and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with the seal intact.

Exemptions: As matcha is a perishable food product, we cannot accept returns on any tins or pouches that have been opened or tampered with. This is for the health and safety of our customers.

  • Non-returnable items: Opened tea products, gift cards, and sale items.

3. Proof of Purchase

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please contact us at info@wabimatcha.com before sending your item back to ensure it is processed correctly.

4. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved refunds: Your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5–10 business days.

  • Sale items: Please note that only regular-priced items may be refunded; sale items are final sale.

5. Exchanges (Defective or Damaged Goods)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival. If you need to exchange a damaged item for the same product, please email us at info@wabimatcha.com with a photo of the damage.

6. Shipping Your Return

  • Costs: You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

  • Tracking: If you are returning items with a total value over $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
