Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Processing Times

We strive to get your matcha to you as fresh as possible.

  • All orders are processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days.

  • Orders placed after 14:00 PM NZT on Fridays or during weekends/public holidays will be processed on the following Monday.

2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

We offer tracked flat-rate shipping to New Zealand and Australia.

Note: Delivery times are estimates and start from the date of dispatch, not the date of purchase.

3. International Shipping to Australia

Shipping across the Tasman involves customs clearance which can occasionally impact delivery times.

  • Tracking: You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your order is dispatched.

  • Customs & Duties: For orders under $1,000 AUD, Australian customers typically do not pay import duties. However, any local taxes or customs fees incurred at the border are the responsibility of the customer.

4. Correct Shipping Information

Under Australian Consumer Law, we are responsible for ensuring your goods arrive at the address provided. Please double-check your address at checkout.

  • If a package is "Returned to Sender" due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, a re-shipping fee will apply.

  • We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes or Parcel Lockers in Australia; a physical residential or business address is required.

5. Lost or Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged or is significantly delayed (beyond 21 days for Australia), please contact us at info@wabimatcha.com immediately. We will work with the carrier to investigate and provide a replacement or refund as required by the Consumer Guarantees Act (NZ) and ACL (AU).
