Recommended Serving Size

  • Mild (Usui): 1/2 tsp (~1g) - Best served straight
  • Medium: 1 tsp (2g) - Ideal for lattes or sipping
  • Strong (Koi): 1+ tsp (>3g) - For smoothies or intense flavor

How to Prepare

Add 1 tsp (2g) of matcha to a bowl (chawan). Pour in 80ml of hot water (approx. 80°C—avoid boiling water to prevent bitterness). Whisk in a zig-zag motion until a fine froth forms. Relax and enjoy.

  • New Zealand: We offer free shipping via NZ Post Overnight courier for orders over $55.
