Sourced from the southern tea fields of Kagoshima, Japan, Natsu is crafted from organic second-harvest (nibancha) leaves. Named after the Japanese word for summer, it reflects the vibrant season in which these leaves are traditionally picked.

Natsu features a robust, bold profile that is naturally more bitter and less sweet than first-flush varieties. This makes it the perfect choice for lattes, smoothies, and baking, where the matcha flavour needs to shine through other ingredients.

Recommended Serving Size

How to Prepare

For an Organic Latte: Sift 1 tsp (2g) of Natsu into a cup. Add a splash of hot water (80°C) and whisk until smooth. Fill the remainder of the cup with your choice of frothed milk. Add a touch of honey or maple syrup to balance the natural bitterness.

Shipping Information:

  • New Zealand: We offer free shipping via NZ Post Overnight courier for orders over $55. 
  • Australia: Free shipping is available on orders over $85 AUD and are sent via International Tracked Courier.  For orders under this threshold, shipping is $22.50 AUD.
